cmq:
INSTALLATION
-you need one empty 3 1/2 disk for update procedure. (e fino qui ok)
-create a DOS boot disk,
>Win9x/ ME
go to Menu "Start" > "Execute", type in command line "format a: /s" without ""
follow instructions in DOS window.
>Windows 2000
sorry, creating DOS disk is not possible any more, alternate create disk on a Win9x/ME
or XP based system. (also alternate you can visit [without guarantee]
www.bootdisk.info)
>Windows XP
doubleclick on working-place or windows-explorer icon, choose 3 1/2-Disk (A
, then rightclick
and choose "format", mark last square "create MS-DOS Startdisk", then click "start". ( e anche qui ok)
-After format extract all files from "Firmware_ND-1300_10B_DOS.ZIP" file to this disk.
(if asked overwrite autoexec.bat file!) (anche qui è chiaro)
-now reboot PC, it should be directly boot** into firmwareupdate menu, start update procedure
by pressing a key.(**if PC doesnt boot into DOS or dont recognize disk as bootable,
check your bootsettings in PC BIOS [also refer to your mainboard manual]) (qui le cose si complicano)
-now It will appear following sequence:
Transferring...
Flashing...
completed.
Transferring...
Flashing...
Completed.
Firmware is changed correctly.
non so perchè ma mi sembra una manovra rischiosa...
